The Quietus website presents an attractive, professional appearance, and its straightforward layout is easy to navigate. The content of the site is a bit thin, although the blog does offer some general articles about tinnitus. So far so good, but one big thing raises a red flag for us. It is not what is on the website that disturbs us, but what is missing. As you will see, our concern is not with the product itself, but with the buying process if you go through the Quietus website. |

Our big concern is that Quietus cannot be ordered online from their website, and the price is nowhere stated. When you click the "Try It Now" button, you are not referred to an order page, but given a phone number to call. One of the best reasons for shopping online is the ability to size up a product and its price for yourself before entering the purchase process. Whenever I am referred to an order page for a product that interests me, I always look immediately for the price, because that's the information I need to finalize my buying decision. If I cannot find the price I become suspicious. On the Quietus website you cannot get the price. You have to call the phone number. |

Why does that raise a red flag? Call us cynical if you will, but if you want to be met by a pushy salesperson, with lots of upselling ploys, then call that number. You probably know well the kind of sales tactics we're talking about. |
